Automobile Association

 

The client’s challenge

The Automobile Association (AA) was a well-known but worn out and tired brand that needed to be revitalised. After winning the pitch with a musical, it soon became apparent that it wasn't going to work with the client's tiny budget and the breath of sub brands that needed to be communicated (we would of blown the year's budget on 2 TV spots). They needed to be resold a new idea, one that works. 

 

The idea

Flush the page with AA yellow and bring to life some quirky stickmen to do all the work.

 

The results

Incredibly fast turn around (everything was done in house) and very cost effective (no shoot or illustration costs) meant we could produce many films within the budget and timelines.

Supporting material

The stickmen were used across all media from digital to TV, print to billboard, in store and, of course, brochures.
