The background

Westgold has had a bit of a makeover with new butter pack designs and expansion into new countries, aiming at younger, contemporary audiences. The heart of Westgold is bold and direct, so our marketing had to show that while making sure people can easily spot Westgold butter on the shelves.

The challenge

We needed to bring Westgold to life visually and make it stand out in a crowded market, all on a tight budget. The goals were to be bold and memorable, challenge the norm, create a cohesive brand story, drive trial and build long-term loyalty, and make every marketing dollar count.

The solution

We reimagined our brand assets to reflect Westgold’s core traits. We matched the new pack design with bold and simple typography, used raw and real imagery, and kept everything straightforward with no fluff. Strong messaging was crucial for cutting through in a busy market.

 

Our consistent branding across all touchpoints, paired with clever media use and engaging content, made sure we drove trial, built loyalty, and boosted sales and profits, all while sticking to our small budget.
